Having struggles with your mental health can be a huge barrier to people wanting to get fitter and healthier and use exercise as a positive way to better your mental wellbeing. Gyms can feel like really scary and intimidating places especially if you are already lacking in motivation and have no clue what to do when you get there.

I am someone who has struggled most of my life with my mental health and for me i’ve found that exercise is a great tool to boost those feel good hormones and give me a sense of accomplishment. Personal training helps to bridge the gap for you. It means that you’ve got someone alongside you to cheer you on, keep you accountable, provide the motivation for when you don’t have any and to do the thinking for you when you just can’t!

It can feel really daunting coming to a gym for the first time and not knowing what to do or if you are doing exercises correctly. With personal training you will be taught th correct lifting techniques, learn different training methods and have someone there to cheer you on and keep you accountable on the hard days. I have studied, trained and learned tried and tested methods to help you achieve whatever goals you have so that you don’t have to! There is so much information out there now that can be both misleading and consuming and honestly it can all get a bit overwhelming. Personal Training helps to keep it simple and we make achievable goals and carve out the small steps to get you to where you want to be. Small steps add up to big results over time.

Sessions are £30 per hour for 1:1 located at Everlast Gym, Sheffield or on location that suits the sports training
