HELLO!

I’m Hana, the founder of SOAR Personal Training.

I started my fitness journey in 2015 and have been fully qualified and working as a PT since then. What a journey it’s been! I had 5 fundamental years working as a PT for FITU in Sheffield and have been running SOAR PT for the past year.

My favourite piece of training kit is definitely the TRX! I love it because it uses your own bodyweight to build muscular strength, endurance and a strong core. Plus it is suited to all ages and abilities making it really accessible. I train to live the lifestyle I want to live and to help others do the same. It’s not about looking a certain way or trying to fit a mould; it’s about getting fitter and stronger to live a long, healthy and active lifestyle.

I have always been ‘sporty’ however I started taking my training much more seriously back in 2015 which led me to train as a PT that year. I also gained a degree in Photography, another passion of mine, and graduated in 2018 from Sheffield Hallam University. During University, I got involved in playing Women’s American Flag Football, playing for the Great Britain Women’s squad. I currently play for the Sheffield Giants Ladies and Mixed team and an International all star squad, called Sacks In The City.

I absolutely love Personal Training and seeing clients succeed and achieve their goals. Coming to a gym environment can feel really scary and hugely out of your comfort zone but i’m here to help change that.

Personal training is about taking small and achievable steps to help you in the direction of a healthier and better lifestyle. This includes your physical and mental wellbeing. I have had my own struggles with my mental health and still do at times. Physical exercise is great for releasing those feel good hormones and showing you that you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

Everlast Gym is a pretty cool community and no it’s not full of “meat heads”, just regular folk trying to improve their wellness.
